PlayStation has officially announced that Ghost of Yōtei will launch exclusively on PlayStation 5 this October 2, 2025.
Developed by Sucker Punch Productions, this highly anticipated title is not a direct sequel to Ghost of Tsushima, but it builds on its legacy with a fresh story, a new protagonist, and a beautiful setting in northern Japan.

Ghost of Yōtei brings in Atsu, a Japanese warrior who survived an attack by a group known as the Yōtei Six.
Sixteen years ago, these outlaws burned her village, nailed her to a tree with her own sword, and left her for dead. Now, she returns to seek justice.
Players will help Atsu track down each of the Yōtei Six across the snowy wilderness of Hokkaido, known in the game as Ezo, each member inspired by elements of Japanese folklore like The Oni, The Kitsune, and The Dragon.
